Hi Ginger,
We bought the truckload from you guys about a month ago and I just wanted to let you know that the items and the price that we can sell things is making a big hit with our customers! We should have done this a long time ago.

Rodney went into panic mode when the truck company called and said that the truck would be in three days after we sent the wire, but even that went smoothly.

There are many, many items that have to be put together since its a mail order place but we are only putting together one of each item and then selling in the box. At these prices folks don't seem to mind, too much.

I know Rodney told you to keep us in mind for domestics. Please do, It would be a good compliment to the truckload.

Just wanted to let you know that we did fine unloading the 22 pallets and that for the most part, the items are in good shape. Thanks!

Sorry I didn't email you sooner. We've been busy, we had to make extra shelves. We had a problem this weekend, we couldn't keep the shelves stocked enough, good problem! We are so excited about this, it's great!! Thank you for inviting us to the warehouse. I've been looking for a year for a good company. Some of the other closeout companies I've spoke with are not willing to help, no one has ever invited us check them out before! I've even been hung up on trying to get information from other companies.

I want to write and tell you how much I appreciate what Lynn has done for me and my business. In December of 2001 my wife and I decided that we would start a liquidation business. Needless to say we did not have a clue what we were getting into, so we obtained a copy of a closeout magazine and started making phone calls. After making phone calls and sending out emails for almost a week, I finally reached a friendly and understanding voice at AML. Lynn took the time to explain to me about the liquidation business and what the terms meant when talking about ordering items. Lynn was understanding and patient with me, and that meant a lot to me. I told myself that it was just the sales person talking but I soon learned that I was very wrong. After talking with Lynn on several occasions and even driving to Foley to meet her. I realize that she is a good and honest person first and that in turn makes her a very good sales person. Lynn could have just dumped merchandise on us at the beginning and not worried about us coming back. Yes believe it or not, there are some liquidators that think that way. Lynn was and continues to be very concerned about what we received and wanted to make sure that we were happy with our product. That mentality will keep me coming back to her and AML.
In closing, once again I want to say thank you to Lynn for all her help and encouragement.

I have been a customer of American Merchandise Company for a year. I have been tremendously impressed with the quality of the merchandise and the quality of the people who work there. I have never asked them for anything they did not try to help me with. Corrine goes out of her way to please me when shipping my lots. She has developed a knowledge of what my customers want and she always tries to make sure I have a percentage of those items in my shipments. I know my relationship with AML will be a long and trusting one. At first, I wanted to able to see my shipments before I sent my check, but now I realize all I have to do is send my check and Corrine and her staff will send a shipment that is even nicer than I expect. I am completely satisfied with the service I get with AML.

The pallets look real good. I have not been through everything as of yet, but what I have seen is great. I have rented a booth at a flea market that is open 7 days a week, and they collect the money, as well as remit the sales taxes. I also seem to have established some loyal yard sale customers. It seems that if I go outside of the house someone wants to know when the next sale will be. Most of my customers are apartment dwellers and they really like the pots and pans, curtains, dishes, etc. However, the toys are going fast at the flea market. A little girl, whose mother works at the flea market, runs to my booth every time I come in to restock, to see what new toys I am bringing in. So thanks a lot, and I hope to need about 3 pallets a month. Will have to wait and see.

Dear Janet,
I just wanted to write and apologize for not buying my last load from AML. The first two shipments you sent were awesome and were everything you said they would be. (and more) I had a blast talking with you on the phone and was impressed that you always did what you said you would do. We were so happy with the HBA product you sent that we had decided to take a whole truckload from you.
But then...I received an e-mail...warning me NOT to pay up to $22,000.00 for the same HBA when I could get it for only $16,200.00. (they now have lowered their price to ($14,700.00). I called and sure enough I was told it was the exact same product. I ordered the truckload. It took nearly two weeks to get it and when we unloaded it we wanted to sit down and cry. It was so obvious that the quality was inferior to what AML had sent us. I hate to say it, but there were mice in some of the boxes and some of the product dated back to the mid 1990's. How sad. We opened some of the boxes and found nothing but candy wrappers and other trash that had been swept up, put in a box, taped shut and thrown on the pallet to be shipped. There were MANY calendars and date books that had to be thrown away as the dates were 1994-95-96 etc. The candy and cookies and other food product was old, melted and stale. We expected a little waste, but not to this extent. I can't tell you how many boxes we have taken straight to the dumpster.
Needless to say, I am back to AML to stay. The merchandise is top QUALITY and above that...you deal with me ethically. We have decided that we can't stay in business and provide for our families unless we deal with a company that has high standards and most importantly ETHICS.
I know this is a long letter...but I had to get this off my chest.
